Proposals for Generic Buildings, 2015

Project Description:
These proposals are made up of parts of existing generic buildings. Each of the parts are acquired as aerial screenshots and then altered and recomposed with other generic parts. Through the re-composition, stacking, addition, and piling, of generic buildings each proposal is conceived as a vertical conglomerate. Each proposal is unified through either a roof garden or a roof desert. The ambition of Proposals for Generic Buildings is to recycle the dumb and raw formalism of the most basic and rudimentary architectural forms of generic architecture into a specific and articulated whole.
